I’m sure dad loves his new ties, and coffee mugs, however nothing can ever replace spending time with your favorite guy! Here are some great ideas, to ensure time well spent with Dad that he can appreciate this Father’s Day, along with some great gift ideas too!

If  Dad loves being outside; going fishing, golfing, to a pool, beach and or a hike are great ways to get out in the sun and have fun! Check your towns information on recreational activities.  Perhaps start the adventure with a gift from one of the activities.  For example; if he likes fishing, get him that fishing rod he’s always dreamed of.

For the indoor dad, activities like the movies, bowling, and or eating at his favorite restaurant.  Schedule a day of movies and dinner he’s sure to enjoy being wined and dined, Moms aren’t the only ones that enjoy this timeless idea:)

Lastly what Dad doesn’t love sports?!? It’s baseball season! Take Dad to a major league baseball game and if you don’t live in a big city, there are minor league teams too! Have fun cheering on my Yankees… Oops that’s my favorite team, lol… But hey whatever you do or wherever you go for Dad, I’m sure it will be a time you treasure forever.

Remember, whatever you do for dad, you don’t have to spend a lot to have the best times! You can take a nice family walk or bike ride, watch a favorite movie at home, cook a favorite meal of dads for dinner.  More importantly check with Dad to decide if he wants a day full of activity or if he just want to relax.  After all it is fathers day & he can enjoy it however he likes!
