Every mom dreams of returning to their pre-pregnancy weight after delivery. I know I couldn’t wait to get to the six-week mark after delivery to be cleared by my Dr. to begin working out. Clearly Jessica Simpson has those same plans in mind, a little over a month following the birth of her daughter Maxwell who was 9 lbs. 13 oz., she was spotted out in Hollywood headed to a private gym.
After admitting to weighing 170 lbs. when she posed nude and pregnant for the April issue of ELLE magazine, Simpson has begun her journey to losing weight. So who will she trust to help her get her body in fabulous shape? None other than celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak, who has also worked with the likes of Halle Berry, Hilary Duff , Lady Gaga and Katy Perry to name a few.

It will take dedication, consistency and hard work and since she has a $4 million deal with Weight Watchers to shed that weight within a year, I am sure she will complete the task at hand!

3 Tips to help get started losing weight if you can’t afford a trainer:
*Nursing & Spanx – this you can usually do right after delivery, both will help your tummy snap back.
*Drink lots of water – helps do get rid of the water weight gain.
*Go for walks and work your walks up to a run. (concentrate on keeping your belly button pulled in like you’re trying to touch your back with it) This will help engage your core muscles.
